PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. Please note that we recognise the importance of your personal information and Nurturing Nutrition will keep all information confidential and secure in accordance with the UK data protection law. We are registered with the ICO. We will not disclose any of this information to third parties without your prior consent. This includes subscribing to our newsletter. Should you no longer wish to receive information from Nurturing Nutrition please inform us via the contact page.

DATA PROTECTION

In providing our services, we collect ‘personal data’ and/or ‘sensitive data’ as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998. This information is always treated with due respect and confidentiality and processed in accordance with the legislation. We may share data with third parties as part of our contracted services, within our administrative systems and/or if we are required to do so by UK law. This may include ‘sensitive personal data’ with, for example, laboratories and/or GP’s. Please note that data may be shared without your consent, if it is in your best interests to do so. I cannot accept liability for any processing conducted by a third party outside my remit.
None of the above affects your rights to request access to any of your personal data we may hold. Should you wish to make such a request under the legislation please do in writing (emails are acceptable). Please note that we may charge an administration fee of £10, payable in advance which is non-refundable.

INSURANCE AND CODE OF ETHICS

Jane Barrett is a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). This means she holds professional insurance, has trained to meet government national occupation standards and continues to train through monitored professional development programmes.

PAYMENT POLICY

You can pay by credit card, cash or cheque, payment is due at the end of the consultation. Direct bank transfer is also available if pre-agreed and paid prior to the consultation. Reduced prices are charged for programmes. See ‘fees’ page.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To be able to offer cancelled appointments to other clients, our cancellation policy is 50% of fee if cancelled within 48 hours and 100% of fee if cancelled within 24 hours.
